Due to extreme weather conditions last year we were unable to hold our 60th Annual Show. However the committee are determined that the 60th Show will take place and so we try again this year when the Show will be held on 26th July, 2008 at Blyth Hall, Shustoke; the home of Sir William and Lady Dugdale. It lasts all day, car parking is free and entry £6.00 per adult, £3.00 children & concessions £15.00 family ticket 2 adults and 2 children.

As usual there will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy so come and join us. The Main Marquee is 140' x 40' and filled with a wonderful display of vegetables, flowers, and plants. Flower arrangements, crafts of many shapes and varieties, a huge array of jams, cakes, and preserves and some marvellous entries from the children. It is an amazing sight.

Outside the marquee we have cattle, sheep and goats; a tent full of rabbits (bring your own rabbit for judging); a very relaxed dog show (bring your own dog) and 3 rings of horse and pony classes. Trade Stands and a Craft Tent provide lots of interesting shopping or watch a display of hedge laying. We also have an area dedicated to local food growers and suppliers.

In the Main Ring we have displays by Kevin and his magnificent Shire Horses and by Jan Primeka with his Elizabethan falconry display. The Nuneaton Dog Obedience Unit show us how to train a family pet, Miniature Horses are competing for their National Qualifiers and there will be a Grand Parade of all Winners before the finale to the Show ...... The CowPat Competition!

There are many delicious food and drink suppliers on the Showground, a Public Bar and plenty of space for visitors who prefer to bring their own picnic.
